Sullivan Hits High Notes at Music in the Parks

Music in the Parks is a day-long festival for student choral, orchestral, and band ensembles, held annually across the United States. Sullivan Middle students have historically participated in the festival held at Disneyland Resort, arguably featuring the some of the most talented and competitive groups in the nation.

Congrats to Sullivan Middle Jazz Band for taking 1st Place AND Sweepstakes at Music in the Parks - the best out of all the jazz bands from middle school AND junior high categories! Jenna Jedlicki also got soloist award!   Way to go Ms. Norling and musicians!

But wait, that's not all! Ms. Pecore's Show Choirs brought home top accolades as well:

Drew Tegt won Overall Junior High Soloist on the Caprice Team

Show 2 Superior Rating Score 93.8 (with one Adjudicator scoring them a 95!)

Show 2 took Overall Junior High Choir with highest score in the contest including high schools!
