Superintendent's Message

Welcome to Bonsall Unified School District! 

 

I am deeply honored and thrilled to serve as your Interim Superintendent. As we embark on this new chapter together, I want to express my heartfelt commitment to building upon the strong foundation laid by Superintendent Joseph Clevenger and our dedicated team of educators, staff, and community partners.

 

Our district's strength lies in our collaborative spirit and shared vision for excellence. Bonsall Unified, established in 1895, has a long, rich tradition of providing high quality teaching and learning for our students. Building upon this tradition, over the past few years, we've worked together to develop the BUSD Framework for the Future – our North Star that guides our decision-making and priorities. This framework, co-constructed with input from students, parents, educators, support staff, and administrators, defines our vision and our mission: 

 

VISION: All students in Bonsall Unified School District engage in rigorous and relevant learning experiences that inspire them to be productive community members and future-ready, lifelong learners. 

 

MISSION: We empower all students to thrive in a positive, safe, and supportive environment through high-quality education focused on the whole learner.

 

As we move forward, I am excited to deepen our commitment to the core values outlined in our framework: Service, Innovation, Collaboration, and Integrity. These principles will continue to drive our efforts in creating transformative educational experiences for all students. 

 

I look forward to working alongside our talented team and engaged community to ensure that every student in Bonsall Unified School District has the opportunity to belong, believe, and achieve.
